Weston-based writer Brian Price will be signing copies of his new crime thriller, Fatal Dose, at the Black Cat, High Street, Weston, on February 1st.
The signing will run from 7pm to 10pm, and will bring together crime fans from across the town.
Crime writing is described by Book Viral as one of the most popular book genres, and although interest might rise and fall, it is a genre that has managed to make a recovery each time.
Brian, a former chemist and biologist for the Environment Agency, is the author behind the DC Mel Cotton police thrillers. Fatal Dose is the latest instalment of his series, which takes place in the made-up town of Mexton.
His other books include:
- Crime Writing: How to write science
- Fatal Trade
- Fatal Hate
Alongside his own writing, he advises other crime writers on the science behind crime such as poisons, knockouts and DNA.
