At Wedmore Golf Club, the seniors' Turkey Trot saw a clear divide between the winners and the rest.
David Cockcroft, Mark Cross, and Mike Smith triumphed with an impressive 83 points, nine points ahead of their closest competitors.
Tony Ireland, Steve Lawrence, and Clive Warren-Smith came in second with 74 points, while Philip Horn, Eddie Parlour, and Gavin Wood followed a shot behind.
In contrast to last year, when the competition was postponed to Easter, this year's tournament went ahead as planned.
Meanwhile, the ladies' foursomes faced challenging conditions, but Sandy Bedford and Ruth Rogers emerged victorious with 34 points, three ahead of the competition.
Pam Berry and Ali Mantell trailed with a score of 31, again three clear of the pack led by Ann Dixon and Pru Witter.
The club saw spirited competition despite the weather, with players determined to make the most of the challenging conditions.
As the season progresses, members look forward to more exciting competitions ahead at Wedmore Golf Club.
