A late goal spoiled Minehead's chances of victory against Congresbury.
Minehead, on a seven-match winning streak, played away at league leaders Congresbury on Saturday.
The game started with a hiccup for Minehead when a back-pass from George Painter was intercepted by Congresbury's Jordan Sole.
However, Sole's attempt was off target, allowing a Minehead defender to clear the ball.
A debatable refereeing decision then awarded Congresbury a penalty after Ryan Wilkins was judged to have fouled an opponent in the box.
Mike Beck scored from the spot, putting Congresbury ahead.
Congresbury almost doubled their lead when Beck's 25-yard shot hit the crossbar and went out of play.
Minehead, however, fought back, with Josh Elston forcing a fine save from Freddie Butchers.
Minehead then equalised when captain Stefan Phillips scored from the penalty spot after Sam Jackson was tripped in the box.
The first half ended 1-1.
Early in the second half, Leon Benjafield's firm shot was saved by Minehead's keeper, Kyran Wilkins.
With 20 minutes remaining, Minehead brought on Scott Kivell.
The game continued at a high level of intensity, and with 12 minutes remaining, Elston put Minehead ahead with a volley from 25 yards out.
Martyn Phillips replaced Sam Jackson late in the game.
However, just when it seemed Minehead would secure three points, Congresbury equalised in the 98th minute.
Joe Swift's toe poke towards goal hit Stefan Phillips and bounced in off the post.
Minehead's team included Kyran Wilkins, Bertie Harvey-Larmar, Ryan Wilkins, Louis Burge, George Painter, Will Singleton-Voss, Stefan Phillips, Josh Elston, Toby Waghorn, Rob Vickers, and Sam Jackson.
Substitutes Martyn Phillips, Scott Kivell, and Guy Burns were all used, with Ollie Reaney remaining on the bench.
Will Singleton-Voss was named Man of the Match.
Next Saturday, Minehead will face Westfield at Irnham Road, with kick-off at 3pm.
Having previously beaten Westfield 2-0 in September, Minehead will be aiming for their first league double of the season to stay in touch with leaders Congresbury.
However, Westfield, unbeaten in the league since then, will be looking to continue their impressive run.
