Winscombe Under-11s Rugby took on Weston and Cheddar in a thrilling Sunday morning fixture.
First up, the Winscombe Avengers faced a mix of Weston and Cheddar players, with Cheddar’s Ru Peat scoring several tries.
However, strong performances from Winscombe players Harrison Cook, Delilah Brice-Bennett, and Charlie Bougourd kept the game competitive.
Next, the Winscombe Rhinos, led by Finley Chase, went head-to-head with a robust Weston team.
Despite a strong start by Weston, with captain Freddy-George at the forefront, Winscombe's defence held firm.
The Rhinos scored nine tries in total, showcasing excellent teamwork, efficient ball-passing, and notable individual efforts.
Winscombe's Brandon scored the first try after a turnover.
The Rhinos' strong running, counter-rucking, and ability to put players into space proved too much for Weston.
The games, which took place on a sunny day, were said to be thoroughly enjoyable, with all players making significant contributions.
