Weston Golf Club's Irlam Trophy was won by president John Whitewood and his wife, Alison, for the second consecutive year.
The duo triumphed with a score of 31 points on a damp day, where the ball had very little run.
Roger and Cathy Preston were the runners-up with 30 points.
Since 1969, the competition, founded by the late George Irlam, has been a staple event, with the silver punch bowl trophy continuing to honour his memory.
Competitors enjoyed a meal, featuring treacle tart, a tradition in memory of George.
