Weston-super-Mare AFC manager Scott Bartlett believes the team are ‘in a good place’ after a 1-1 draw with Dorking Wanderers at home.
Speaking to the club’s media after the game, he said he felt they gave a ‘strong performance’ but was disappointed they did not win.
He said “I just felt we got grips with their movement, their rotations, which were very good and led to the first goal where we just didn’t track a runner.
“I thought they started brightly, having said that, we could have gone one up just before.
“I thought we responded really well actually and I thought we looked more likely to go on and win the game.”
With 10 games played, the Seagulls sit in play-off contention, having won five, drawn two and lost two.
Speaking about the season as a whole after 10 games, Scott said: “I think we’re in a good place. I think we’ve got a team now that however we play, we look really solid and strong.”
