New bowlers put themselves on the map at the St Andrews Club Championship Finals.

Tracy Cracknell won two titles, while Karen Taylor took home one.

Both started bowling only last year, marking this as their first competitive season.

Cracknell, alongside Norma Peters and Becky McMillan, won the triples championship.

She also teamed up with Charlie Andrews to clinch the mixed pairs title.

Karen Taylor, in her first competitive season, showed her prowess by leading Becky McMillan to victory in the women’s pairs against Clare Andrews and Debbie Johns.

England player McMillan claimed four titles in total, including the two-wood singles.

In the men’s club championship, club captain Robin Potter was defeated by Jack Angove, who also won the two-wood singles title.

Tim Wyatt narrowly defeated David Stott in the handicap singles.

Stott, in his first outdoor season at St Andrews, was part of the winning triples team with Derek Reynolds and Brian Reeves.
