Victoria Bowling Club's week began with its two ladies' teams clashing in the Quadrant Derby.
The Blues triumphed over the Whites in a comprehensive victory.
S Sokol, D Gibbs, and T Miles led the charge with an impressive 26-10 win.
Pat Taylor, E Edwards, and N Whyte also had a strong showing, winning 20-11, while K Wilson, S Lawrence, and A Culpeck completed the clean sweep with a 15-11 victory.
On Thursday, Victoria Ladies faced Clevedon in a challenging Wessex League match.
The contest was fiercely competitive, with all three games remaining in the balance throughout.
P Taylor, D Gibbs, J Hartree, and M Slavin managed to secure a 16-16 tie.
In a similarly close match, D Welfare, R Bailey, J Bakonyi, and N Whyte drew 12-12.
However, the third rink went to Clevedon, who won by four shots, resulting in a total score of 44-40 in favour of the hosts.
The highlight of the week came on Tuesday when the Victoria Saxons battled Wedmore at Winscombe.
Despite the dreadful weather conditions, the match began evenly before Victoria gradually gained the upper hand.
After 14 of the scheduled 18 ends, the captains decided to call it a day, with Victoria winning by 22 shots.
The team of Heal, Bromet, and Sloman was the top performer, winning 28-08.
This was closely followed by the Davies, Manning, and Coumis team, who won 22-05.
Captain Owen, Carpenter, and Crawford also won 15-12, while Cooper, Campbell, and Wheatley won by a narrow margin of 12-11.
