St Andrews Women won the Mid Division Championship in the Somerset County League.
This marks the second consecutive year they have claimed the title.
They secured the championship with eight victories in nine matches, leaving one game to spare against second-placed Ashcombe.
The club achieved this feat despite missing half a dozen of their most experienced players throughout the season.
Club president, Jim Keay, said: "Our women are terrific.
"Some of the players who have helped win the league are very new bowlers, who have come on in leaps and bounds and surpassed all expectations.
"They have a great team spirit.
"We are very proud of them all."
Meanwhile, St Andrews' men made a significant move towards avoiding relegation in the Over-55 League by winning at Isle of Wedmore.
This was achieved despite being one rink short, which gifted ten shots and two points to the home team.
A 28-shot victory, including two sixes, by Geoff Poole, Malcolm Goddard, and Gordon Wride, was decisive.
Two other rinks also won, meaning Saints now need only two points from their last three games to remain in Division One.
Their performance this season is a testament to their resilience and determination, proving that team spirit can often outweigh experience.
