Victoria Bowls Club owned the week with several wins across fixtures, culminating in winning the Four Dimensions KO Final title.

The week started with a confident win for the team against N Petherton in the Wessex league on Wednesday, Victoria's Ladies sailed to the finish line, 60-46.

The result was buoyed by the rink of B Williams, T Miles, J Bakonyi, and M Slavin, who showcased superior skills with their outstanding 30-7 win, complemented by K Wilson, D Gibbs, J Hartree, and M Hawkins’ quartet victory of 19-15.

On Thursday, the Ladies triumphed once more at Winscombe with a 57-36 scoreline.

Keeping the momentum alive were K Wilson, T Miles, J Bakonyi, and N Whyte, leading the way 21-08, almost mirrored by the team of B Williams, A Culpeck, P Turner, and R Cleeves, who secured a win at 22-10.

Making headlines on Thursday were The Saxons, who sought victory at Portishead RBL in the KO Cup semi-final.

The determined team avenged their previous league loss at the same venue by winning the game 107-85, consequently progressing to the final.

The success of J Newman, D Fairhurst, and M Campbell, 25-06, certainly tipped the scales in favour of Victoria.

Simultaneously, The Vikings met league leader, Clarence Park, and defied expectations by pulling off an impressive win of 12-8, capturing four out of six games.

Continuing the victorious march, The Saxons claimed an away win against St Andrews on Friday, securing a 100-78 score and contributing a 16-4 points tally.

The team won three out of five games, forcing the Saints to forfeit a rink.

Meanwhile, Victoria’s B Team hosted Yatton on Saturday.

Starting strong and gradually gaining an advantage, they secured a commendable victory of 70-44.

Prominent performers were teams J Newman, A Kimitri, M Campbell and K Burgess scoring 27-10, B Johnson, Carmine, N Robbins P Coumis tripling at 22-16 and D Fairhurst, T Puddy, R Bromet, H Gibbs summing up the score with a 21-18 win.

The week concluded on Sunday when Victoria won the Four Dimensions KO Final against Clevedon Prom in a closely fought match at Backwell.

S Davies, D Carpenter and C Heal’s triplet initiated a 22-10 win, backed by D Nutt and D Wheatley’s pairs triumph at 19-14.

Despite Clevedon's nabbing wins in the remaining two dimensions, Victoria retained the trophy due to a positive shot difference of 68–66.
