It's been a busy week of action at Victoria Bowling Club in Weston-super-Mare.

The Victoria Ladies started the week on a high note on Thursday, beating Clevedon Prom in the Weston League with a score of 58-45.

Key players S Cooper, J Hartree, A Crawford, and S Harrison contributed significantly to the victory with a sizeable win of 27-10.

This victory was reinforced by B Jones, P Turner, M Slavin, and R Cleeves who together scored 22-9.

Following the ladies' success, Victoria Saxons played against Portishead RBL.

Despite the Saxons winning four of the six rinks, they unfortunately lost 8-12.

P Coumis, N Robbins, and D Wheatley were triumphant with a substantial 24-08 win.

A Bradley, R Bromet, and K Holland also secured a victory with a 27-12 win, with Bromet showing particular impressive skill.

On Friday, Victoria Vikings took on Nailsea in a hotly contested match, the latter emerging victorious with a 83-106 win.

Despite the team's loss, D Carr, M Willets, and E George put forth commendable efforts, securing a five-shot win and M Brookes, C Cleeves, and D Hubbard scraped through with a 13-12 win.

The Victoria Ladies Whites exhibited great resilience on Saturday, leveraging their strong performance to achieve an excellent away win against Mark Moor.

B Williams, P Turner, and M Kelly laid a strong foundation that led the team to success winning 26-11.

Further boosting the team's win were R Cleeves, J Apps, and J Hartree whose combined effort resulted in a 19-14 victory.

On the same day, the three Victoria Men's county teams displayed great determination in their respective games.

It was a difficult test and no points for the C Team against a strong Clevedon B, while the B team lost away to St Andrews in a close match that ended 46-56.

The A Team, in its first season in Premier One, continued their great performance.

Notable players D Nutt, D Carpenter, D Wheatley, and P Sloman's strong efforts led to a dominating 28-08 win, helping to maintain The Vic's third place standing in the highest bowls league in Somerset.

M Cooper, C Gazzard, P Owen, and A Bradley, as well as C Heal, T Puddy, P Coumis, and J Newman, also played crucial roles securing victories of 20-18 and 17-16 respectively.

This puts the Vic in an incredible third place in the highest bowls league in Somerset.
