Weston AFC travel to North London this weekend to take on Enfield Town in their second game of the 2024/25 season.
The Seagulls go into the game coming off the back of a heartbreaking loss to Worthing FC in their first fixture of the season that saw them go 3-0 up after 40 minutes but concede four second half goals, including a 96th minute penalty, to lose 4-3.
Despite the second half collapse Weston’s first half performance was excellent, they pressed well and were clinical whilst summer signing Luke Coulson’s performance that earned him a first-half brace will give manager Scott Bartlett much to build on before kick-off time.
Enfield Town on the other hand are at the start of their first season in the National Conference League South having been promoted from the Isthmian League at the end of last season.
The London-based team are also coming off the back of a loss from their first fixture of 2024/25 after they lost 2-1 to Torquay United, in a game that they also took an early lead that they could not keep.
The Seagulls kick off against Enfield on Saturday August 17th, 3:00pm, looking to secure their first points of the 46-game campaign.
