CLEEVE Cricket Club U15s won the Bristol & District Plate T20 with a resounding victory over Backwell Flax Bourton.
The club's young talent triumphed by 65 runs in the finale hosted on their own turf.
Several players had recently experienced top-tier coaching, having crossed bats with Gloucestershire cricketer, Chris Dent, lending an experienced hand last Sunday at his testimonial.
The young cricketers demonstrated impressive teamwork and sportsmanship, trumping their competitors with a considerable score of 158-2.
Lead batter Ollie retired at 50 not out, with noteworthy contributions from Doug, George, and Harry.
Backwell Flax's reply fell short at 94.
Adhering to Cleeve's inclusion policy, all outfield players bowled two overs.
Ben and Sam took two wickets each whilst Ollie and Sam caught two. Harry also caught a one-handed catch.
Head coach Shaun Hopkinson Parker praised the players for a successful season.
