It was the now familiar mixture of rain, sun and wind again this week at Wedmore golf club but two of the planned competitions survived the weather, with just the Seniors missing out on Monday.
Mary-Lou Denny and Liz Hill took the top prize in the Ladies Greensomes on Thursday.
They cruised through the heavy weather to record 36 points which was enough to put them 4 clear of the rest of the field.
Pam Berry and Ronnie Follenfant were their closest challengers on 32 points, with three teams behind them all recording 30 points.
It was comparatively spring-like for the Captain-Pro Challenge on Saturday, a competition in which teams try to finish with a better stableford score than the pairing of Club professional Liam Harper and Captain Dave Bedford, who came in with 41 points.
The best score of the day came from habitual winners Ian Williams and Chris Mckinley who topped the podium with 43 points.
