Jerry Brueford and Roy Fletcher both beat their handicaps to combine to win the Pairs Aggregate Stableford on Saturday at Brean Golf Club.
They scored 37 points each to equally contribute to the victory as their 74 point total edged out Steve Jones and Simon Baunton who ended one shy on 73.
A back nine countback was required between the two pairs on 72 to decide third spot with the Pete Barton/Chris Fairchild pairing beating Steve Barker and Mark Elvins over the back nine.
Barker was the only player to pass 40 points with his 41 point haul being the best individual score of the day and just one Two was scored as well with Kevin Davies being the owner of that at the short 7th to claim the entire Two's pot.
The January Stableford saw yet more success head in the direction of the Jones family.
Paul Jones produced the best score of the day with a superb 43 points on his way to Division Two success whilst younger brother Steve took the Division One top spot with an equally impressive 42 points.
Chris Fairchild came out on top of the 8th round of the Seniors Winter League played on a very damp Tuesday morning.
Numbers playing were severely depleted due to the poor weather and it was decided to reduce the event to 15 holes as a result of this.
