John Harding needed countback to claim victory in Wedmore’s Seniors stableford last week.
The Seniors played with three clubs and a putter but this seemed to have no effect on the scoring.
Harding edged past Andy Shepherd after both scored with 21 points. Tony King finished third with 19.
The Ladies played a scramble, which involved rolling dice to choose which drives to take.
The winning team was Heather Abraham, Jill Cornelius, Alison Dodkin and Lynda Huzal who won with a nett 28 shots, one better than Mary-Lou Denny, Jennifer Fell, Sue Hughes and Pru Witter in second. Third was Lyn Bird, Ronnie Follenfant, Eileen Gillibrand and Jenny Thomas with a nett 31.
Just three ladies played in a stableford last weekend but they produced the most exciting finish with Abi Moore taking victory on countback from Sally Stephens after both scored 29 with Jane Prosser a point behind in third.
Dom Smith won Division One with 43. Steve Dowden was second with 40, with Moly Mcmillan two points behind in third.
Kevin Harris scored 39 to win Division Two by two points from Jon Raeside, who beat Ian Williams on countback.
In Division Three Chris Manville scored 42, one better than Lucas Kirk who beat Jeremy Parsons on countback.
