Weston HC maintained their lead at the top of Concorde Two after a 4-2 win over Westbury & United Banks on Saturday.
Weston opened the scoring after a couple of minutes in brilliant team pressing display resulted in OJ Standeven tapping the ball home.
Less than a minute later Weston doubled their lead after more great pressing from Alex Leeks and the midfield trio of Jack Pitt, Cam Slater and CJ Neate as well as Nick Bily allowing Alistair Mead to find the net.
Westbury hit back to half the scores from a short corner.
The remainder of the half saw defence of Rob Mount, James Leeks and Fin Baker and substitute Kev Collins keep the rest of the visitors attacks at bay.
However, Weston grabbed another after half-time thanks to a strong finish from Slater.
But Weston again got too complacent and condeded another from a short corner which Westbury capitalised.
But the hosts sealed victory with another well worked move finding Mead to grab his second of the game and extend their lead at top of the table.
