The following cases were heard at North Somerset Courthouse from April 11-13.
* Tyrone Anderson, Sommerville Road, Sandford (45). Assault: 16-week suspended sentence and ordered to pay £500 compensation, £85 costs and £115 victim surcharge. Criminal damage: ordered to pay £796.31 compensation. Assault police officer: two-week suspended sentence (concurrent) and ordered to pay £100 compensation.
* Dean Marshall, no fixed abode, (18). Two counts of criminal damage: ordered to pay £560 compensation. Fail to surrender to custody: one-week suspended sentence. Assault police officer: community order and ordered to pay £50 compensation. Harassment: 12-week suspended sentence and restraining order.
* Jordan Bowcott, Smith Way, Highbridge (20). Driving without insurance: Fined £300, six penalty points and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Luigi Capello, Bathurst Road, Weston (43). Speeding: Fined £440, four penalty points and ordered to pay £85 costs and £44 victim surcharge.
* Daniel Bevan, Alfred Street, Weston (31). Two counts of theft: community order and ordered to pay £80 compensation.
* Lewis Clarke, Brompton Road, Oldmixon (23). Assault: Fined £112 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
Jason Gingell, Selworthy Road, Weston (35). Using phone while driving: Fined £220, six penalty points and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
* Leighton Sheppard, Walliscote Grove Road, Weston (18): Driving without insurance: Fined £120, six penalty points and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge. Driving without licence: Fined £40.
* Kevin Crandon, Maunsell Road, Weston (64). Speeding: Fined £150, three penalty points and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge.
* Barry Ling, Marlborough Drive, Weston (47). Speeding, Fined £415, six penalty points and ordered to pay £85 costs and £41 victim surcharge.
