THE son of celebrity chef Marco Pierre White has led a turbulent life plagued by drug addiction and legal troubles.
Marco Pierre White Jr, 29, has been in prison more than once, and has faced prosecution for crimes ranging from burglary to racial harassment.
He also has a long history of drug addiction, which he has struggled with since he was a teenager.
Despite vowing to stop taking drugs after his last stint in prison, White Jr has landed in trouble again, receiving a suspended prison sentence after admitting to carrying out multiple burglaries in Somerset.
This latest chapter in his long legal history led to the court describing the Weston-super-Mare resident as a “professional criminal” and sentencing him to a nine-month drug rehabilitation order.
But who is Marco Xavier Pierre White?
From sharing the Big Brother house with Andrew Tate to launching his own high-end sex toy brand called Velvet Love, the son of one of Britain’s most famous chefs has led a colourful and turbulent life.
Marco Pierre White Jr was born May 24 1995 – the son of chef Marco Pierre White and his third wife Mati Conejero.
He has an older brother, Luciano, and a younger sister, Mirabelle.
White Jr grew up in Chelsea, West London and Wiltshire but now lives on Upper Church Road in Weston-super-Mare.
He was a contestant on the 17th series of Big Brother, where his behaviour led to the show receiving 634 Ofcom complaints, and was kicked out after 11 days.
Since then, White Jr has faced a succession of legal problems.
These include paying a fine for drink and racial harassment charges in January 2019, as well as another fine in June of that year for failing to pay for a £27 breakfast at a restaurant in Bath.
He received a 32-week suspended sentence for offences including possession of class A drugs in August 2020.
Two years later, he was sentenced to 11 months in prison after pleading guilty to 14 offences including shoplifting, possessing a knife, possessing heroin and a racially aggravated public order offence.
After being released from prison in 2023, he claimed to have converted to Islam and vowed never to take drugs again.
Then in May 2024, he was sentenced to 41 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to burglary and other offences at Bristol Magistrates' Court.
He hadn’t been released long before he was jailed again – this time for stealing socks in August from a Sainsbury's among other charges.
In 2017, White Jr tried to launch a “dildo empire” when releasing a range of titanium sex toys under the brand name “Velvet Love”.
White Jr has a daughter, Arabella Rosa, who was born in November 2019.
Now he has landed in trouble again, leading the court to brand him a “professional criminal”.
Court records state: “The defendant has a flagrant disregard for people and their property because the number and nature of the offences shows that the defendant is operating as a professional criminal.”
Magistrates sentenced him to a 30-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, a nine-month drug rehabilitation order, as well as ordering payment of fines and costs.
