THE new owners of a hotel on the Weston-super-Mare seafront said they are planning a series of improvement works.
The Sandringham Hotel, recently bought by Daish’s Holidays, will close in January 2025 to allow upgrades that will also include the addition of ten additional bedrooms and an improved restaurant and bar area.
“These improvements reflect our ongoing commitment to provide wonderful experiences for our guests," said Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays. “We look forward to unveiling the enhanced Sandringham Hotel in February next year and welcoming guests back to enjoy a refreshed level of comfort and hospitality.”
The independent, family-owned UK coach holiday group announced the acquisition of the hotel in October.
The hotel, based in Victoria Square, was purchased for an undisclosed sum.
George Brown, managing director at Daish’s Holidays, previously said: “We are incredibly excited to have completed on the acquisition of The Sandringham Hotel in Weston-super-Mare.
“The town is a gem on our British coastline, and we have been on the lookout for a hotel in the area for a while as we know the location would sit well within our group of hotels and is a popular destination for our customer base."
