A WESTON man has been found guilty in his absence of a vehicle insurance offence.
Sean McGinty, 53, of Upper Bristol Road, had denied breaching the Road Traffic Act during a previous appearance at North Somerset Magistrates’ Court.
But magistrates found proven the case against him, which claimed he was the registered owner of the vehicle when it did not meet the insurance requirements.
McGinty was fined £211 and ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £84 and court costs of £140.
