RESIDENTS and visitors of Weston-super-Mare eat Festival and Christmas lights switch-on will benefit from free bus services to get to the events.
This Saturday, November 23, travel will be free on bus services 1, 5, 6, 7, 9, 20, 125, 126 to get to the town centre for the popular food and drink market and the town’s Christmas lights switch-on.
eat:Weston starts at 10am until 4pm and can be found in the Italian Gardens and the Winter Gardens - it's always fantastic so do come along.
The Weston Brass Band concert will start at 4pm. They will be performing next to the spectacular Nordika Christmas tree.
A fire performer will be in the Italian Gardens at 4pm.
The official switch-on ceremony will start from 5pm, led by the Mayor.
The talented singers from the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts will get everyone in the spirit with Christmas songs as we count down to lighting up the town.
