NEW Christmas lights are being installed in Weston-super-Mare town centre.
The town council said this year’s decorations will have a new design.
The Christmas lights switch-on will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2024, and will include the debut of the stunning 8-metre Nordika tree, plus the return of EAT Festival.
The festivities will take place across two venues—the Italian Gardens and the Winter Gardens, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland filled with over 100 food and drink producers and makers.
Weston Mayor, Cllr John Crockford-Hawley, said: "With the debut of the Nordika tree and the return of the EAT Festival, this is set to be a memorable day filled with joy, laughter, and the true spirit of Christmas."
