A MAN in his 50s suffered concussion after he was “punched repeatedly” during an assault in a takeaway in Burnham-on-Sea.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to talk to in connection with the incident, which took place on South Road at around 9.30pm on Saturday 28 September.
The man in the image is described as white, in his thirties or forties, of muscular build, with short dark hair and a sleeve tattoo on his left arm.
He was wearing a dark T-shirt with the letters 'NY' in white on the front, blue jeans and black trainers.
The attack left the victim, 53, suffering from concussion, and he is now undergoing further medical assessments by eye specialists.
A statement from Avon and Somerset Police said the 53-year-old was “punched repeatedly” and urges anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
