A WESTON fundraiser held a cheque presentation to donate over £10,000 to a cancer charity.
Paul Hobbs recently walked 30 miles around the Grand Pier in Weston to mark 30 years of fundraising for Cancer Research UK.
Paul joined the challenge in memory of his late wife Maureen, who passed away in June.
The £10,108.39 cheque presentation took place at Revo Kitchen, and Paul also met Izzy Thorpe, Bristol's Olympic Artistic Swimming silver medallist.
They presented a cheque for £10,108.39 to Louise Gash, who was there on behalf of Cancer Research UK.
The Mayor of Weston, Cllr John Crockford-Hawley also attended the presentation.
