STAFF and students at Hans Price Academy (HPA) joined the nation in observing a two-minute silence to honour Armistice Day (November 11).
This annual reflection commemorates the courage and sacrifices made by members of the Armed Forces throughout history and today.
To mark this solemn occasion, HPA continued its tradition of inviting students who are part of youth organisations, including the Cadets, Guides, Scouts, and Boys’ Brigade, to wear their association uniforms as a sign of respect and solidarity.
This visible display of commitment by young members reflects the academy's dedication to honouring the values of service, unity, and remembrance.
Adrian Esch, principal of Hans Price Academy, said: “It is incredibly moving to see our young people participate in this tradition and pay their respects to those who have served.
“At HPA, we emphasise the importance of remembrance, understanding the impact of past and present sacrifices, and inspiring future generations to appreciate peace and community.”
