CREWS were called to the scene of a fire at a storage facility in Weston-super-Mare.
Avon Fire & Rescue Service was called to reports of a blaze on a site near Lower Kewstoke Road yesterday (Tuesday, November 5).
Weston crews are still at the scene of the fire now to make it safe.
A spokesperson for the service said: “We worked with other emergency services and agencies including, Environment Agency and the police for traffic management of the local area.
“Residents were advised to stay inside and close windows. There were no injuries.
“Crews from Bath, Kingswood, Patchway, Hicks Gate were later called to relieve the original crews.
“Crews from Weston-Super-Mare remain on the scene of the fire and continue to make the scene safe.
“The cause of the fire is thought to be accidental ignition.”
