A WESTON author will sign copies of his new thriller at a town centre pub later this month.

Brian Price will be signing copies of his latest thriller, Fatal Image, at The Black Cat, Weston High Street, from 8pm on Wednesday, November 27.

The book features an ambitious MP who, tipped for high office, has to eliminate six people who could derail his career.

One by one they are murdered. They were all at a sordid party which he attended seventeen years ago and any one of them could leak details to the press.

Meanwhile, another attendee has his own reasons for tracking down an incriminating photo taken at the event.

For him the stakes are higher – a long prison sentence looms if it falls into the hands of his bosses.

With a chemistry teacher kidnapped by criminals who want her to make methamphetamine, and someone poisoning local honey, Mexton CID are overwhelmed. But they must track down the serial killer before more people die.

Fatal Image is the fifth book in Brian Price’s acclaimed DC Mel Cotton series, set in an imaginary English town and published by Hobeck Books.

As well as writing fiction, Brian advises other writers on the scientific aspects of crime.

He was recently credited with keeping best-selling author M.W.Craven out of jail by advising him not to publish the recipe for ricin in his thriller The Botanist.
