A WESTON hair clinic owner has said reaching the finals of an award taking place in New York was the highlight of her career.
Micro Artistry Hair Clinic was nominated as a finalist for 'Rising Star: Europe', as well as the 'Best Scar Camouflage' category for scar camouflage after hair transplant surgery.
Owner Chloe Heyworth said: “My business is called Micro Artistry Hair Clinic.
"I offer specialist hair services including Scalp Micropigmentation, Trichology, Platelet-Rich Plasma, and Laser Hair Removal.
“I am Somerset's top-rated scalp micropigmentation artist and a multi-award-winning clinic.
“The event I attended is called 'Meeting of Minds' which is one of the biggest Scalp Micropigmentation events worldwide with artists traveling from as far as Australia to attend.
“This year the event was held in Times Square, NYC. I was nominated as a finalist for 'Rising Star: Europe', as well as 'Best Scar Camouflage' for scar camouflage after hair transplant surgery.
“Each category had 100s of entries between them, so being nominated as a finalist was a huge personal achievement and a highlight of my career so far.
"I'm passionate about helping both men and women of all ages with their hair loss concerns through the specialist treatments I provide at Micro Artistry.
"The treatment I was nominated as a finalist for is called Scalp Micropigmentation which is a form of medical tattooing on the scalp to replicate missing hair follicles.
"The result creates an illusion of full hair density.
"With a background in portraiture, I aim to create the most realistic results possible for my clients."
"I offer free consultations from my clinic in Weston-super-Mare."
