A TESCO store in Weston-super-Mare is currently undergoing a “refresh” to improve shopping experience for its customers – but is open as usual.
Works are being carried out at the supermarket store on Station Road to upgrade fridges and freezers, bring in a new produce area and a new clothing section.
The petrol filling station will also be improved, as well as the pharmacy.
A Tesco spokesperson said: “Our Weston-super-Mare Superstore store is currently undergoing a refresh to improve the shopping experience for customers, the store is open as usual, but we thank customers for their patience whilst the work is undertaken.
“Improvements will include upgraded fridges and freezers, a new produce area, a new F&F clothing section and a refresh of both the customer service desk and pharmacy.
“Outside the store, we are also making improvements to the petrol filling station.
“We look forward to welcoming customers to a fully refreshed store after the upgrades are complete.”
The Weston Mercury understands works will be completed next month.
