RESIDENTS and visitors in Weston-super-Mare enjoyed the 41st edition of the town’s popular ROKiT Beach Race.
The event, which run from Friday to Sunday last week, celebrated “four decades of offroad motorsport excellence”.
During the race, riders compete on a mammoth 6-mile circuit winding their way through the picturesque beachscape, the RHL Activities website explains.
“But that's not all,” the website also adds.
“The race kicks off in style with a famous 2km straight that'll leave you breathless. It's the kind of spectacle that legends are made of.
“The roaring engines, the flying sand, the heart-stopping jumps, and the incredible skills of the riders will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.
“Whether you're a fan of bikes, quads, or the exhilarating sidecar action, Weston Beach Race has it all in spades.”
