THE Helicopter Museum celebrates its 35th Anniversary on Sunday, November 3.

To celebrate this there will be a day of special themed tours and talks for visitors, which will include: Founders talk by the Museum’s Founder and Life President Capt. Elfan Ap Rees.

He will tell the story of the Museum’s conception and regale visitors with some of the stories about how he acquired the aircraft in the now world-famous collection.

Restoring an H-21 ‘Flying Banana’, a close look and talk about the Museums latest conservation project.

The Helicopter Museum at The Movies, a chance to climb aboard the Museum's 'Marvel' Helicopter and hear about the role it played in a recent blockbuster movie, plus a look at the other aircraft in the collection that have appeared in TV and Film.

Westlands In Focus, an in-depth appreciation of our Westland Helicopter exhibits.

Assistant manager Jessica Porter said: “With so many talks to celebrate 35 years, it will be a fascinating day for any helicopter enthusiast.”

The Helicopter Museum is a Registered Charity and houses the World’s Largest Collection of Helicopters including two Historic Aircraft of The Queens Royal Flight, The World’s Oldest Helicopter and The World’s Fastest Helicopter.
