Cllr Mike Bell, leader of North Somerset Council and Lib Dem North Somerset Councillor for Weston Central Ward, said: “Pleased to see that some work I asked for on behalf of local residents has been completed by Weston-super-Mare Town Council and North Somerset Council at Ellenborough Park West.

“The damaged pedestrian gate post has been repaired by the town council and new white lines have been painted on Ellenborough Park North by North Somerset to help prevent parking that obstructs the pedestrian access from this side of the park.

“Ellenborough Park West is managed by Weston Town Council and is widely used for wellbeing and activities so it is important to keep access as good as possible.”
