A MOTORIST who was driving on the M5 near Weston-super-Mare and was arrested on suspicion of drink driving has been disqualified.

Avon and Somerset Police said a motorist was disqualified for 29 months after he refused to provide a sample of breath for analysis in custody.

The force also said the driver, who was also driving without insurance, was fined £1,384.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “A motorist arrested on suspicion of drink driving has been disqualified from driving for 29 months after he refused to provide a sample of breath for analysis in custody.”
