A POST OFFICE has reopened after a two-week closure was in place to allow the roll out of a more reliable internet connection.

The Queensway Post Office store in North Worle was closed for two weeks “due to a problem caused by a copper to fibre issue”.

A spokesperson for the Post Office said the branch is now open again.

A Post Office spokesperson said: “Queensway Post Office in North Worle had been closed for a fortnight due to a technical problem caused by a copper to fibre issue.

“The matter has now been resolved and the branch has re-opened. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
