A MAN remains in hospital with “potentially life-changing” injuries after a collision near Weston-super-Mare.
Avon and Somerset Police were called after a collision between a moped and a van in Banwell on Tuesday, August 20.
The force has now said the rider of a moped – a man in his 20s – has injuries “currently described as potentially life-changing”.
A police spokesperson said: “A man remains in hospital following a collision involving a moped and a van in Banwell on Tuesday 20 August.
“It happened on Wolvershill Road at about 7.10am.
“The rider of the moped - a man in his 20s - has injuries currently described as potentially life-changing. His family are aware.
“Officers have now spoken with the driver of a white vehicle who was sought as a possible witness.
“If you have any information which could help the investigation, please call 101 and give the reference 5224219058.”
