THE Front Room Theatre has announced a new season of programming, featuring a mix of live performances, productions, and community-driven events.

It follows a year of accolades, with the Weston-super-Mare venue honoured with the Best Social Enterprise Business award at the National Small Awards, as well as Best Fringe Theatre Space 2024 from SME News.

Kicking off in September, the season will commence with local favourite From The Mud Cabaret, packed with craziness, laughter and joy.

The entertainment continues with performances from comic artist Becky Walsh's Toss Bag and further laughs from Class Act Stand Up Comedy.

Family-friendly production Woodland Tales with Granddad and Ratty’s Playtime: A Squeak-Easy Party also feature.

For theatre enthusiasts, there is NO ONE Is Listening (A Ghost Story), from Vic Llewellyn, and the return of Story Slam - Adventures, a platform for individuals to recount personal life stories.

Autumn/Winter promises a versatile mix of performances assured to suit diverse interests.

Audiences can look forward to Femme Fatigue by Ella Evans, recently performed at the Edinburgh Festival,The Duke by Shon Dale-Jones, and Section 28 and Me by Tom Marshman.

Poetry performances by Luke Wright's Joy and Melanie Branton’s Full English, and the improvised comedy This is Your Musical, are expected to be highlights.

Music from the Phoenix River Band and folk duo Suthering as well as a Tibetan Monks concert offer melodic delights.
