A CHARITY promoting the installation of defibrillators around Weston-super-Mare has launched a partnership with the air ambulance services.

Donate for Defib WSM will work alongside Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

Thanks to this partnership, every £1705 raised will fund a defibrillator.

A spokesperson for Donate for Defib said: “We are excited to announce our new partnership with Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance alongside working with Great Western Air Ambulance Charity.

“We met up with Ollie and Georgia this morning (Wednesday, 7 August 2024) at Orchard Park Farms, Shepton Mallet to showcase and launch our new work and also their first defibrillator to save further lives.

“All of us at Donate For Defib WsM Project are looking forward to our ongoing partnership.

“A huge thanks to Neil at Orchard Park Farms and all the team and the local community from the Hornblotton Village Hall who raised funds for the defib and made this such a success.
