A WESTON family-run Brazilian Steak House has achieved a five star food hygiene score.

Sabor do Brasil, located on St James Street, describe themselves as a "family running, authentic Brazilian restaurant."

The establishment offers hungry locals traditional cuisine, such as meat cooked on a skewer over an open flame.

Speaking further about what the restaurant has to offer, a spokesperson from the company said: "Sabor do Brasil is the only Brazilian Steak House in the area.  What is a Brazilian Steak House? Well, it is the most common restaurant in Brazilin serving 'Churrasco' often translated as 'Barbeque'.

"It refers to meat cooked on a skewer over an open flame.  Our buffet is a common lunch time option with delicious cooked dishes offering all-you-eat experience by giving the dinner the opportunity to try new high-quality dishes.

"Sabor do Brasil has differentiated menus for weekdays including lunch and dinner and weekends.  The owner is a Master Meat Chef who can cook a perfect steak every time and how to cut it.

"It’s important to communicate with the chef whether you like your meat rear or well-done steak.  The chef can furnish your request with the right piece of meat.

"If you are wondering which drink can stand up to this hearty meal, look no further and experience Caipirinha, made with sugar, lime and the Brazilian spirit Cachaça."

Pedro Bernardes de Faria and his wife, Paola, own the restaurant.

Speaking about how it feels to achieve such a high rating, Paola said: "At Sabor do Brasil, we are truly proud to achieve the 5 stars on the Hygiene Rating.

"We are a small family business and everything we do we try to do with love and respect towards our customers. We are keeping working hard to maintain our high standard."
