A CARE home in St Georges in Weston has been crowned a winner in the Care Home Awards 2024.
St Georges Nursing Home, run by Allegra Care family, received the 'Best for Wellbeing' award and was praised for being dedicated to the happiness and health of its residents.
The St Georges team were overjoyed at the news.
Helen Jones, CEO of Allegra Care, said: "We are over the moon and incredibly proud that St Georges has taken top honours in this category.

Helen Warrilow, Commercial Director of the Care Home Awards, explained that this year's awards were particularly notable.
Helen said: "This year’s awards were enhanced by the addition of some outstanding names in the care home sector as first-time entrants.
"Entries reached record numbers, calling for a slightly larger group of judges for 2024."
