DOG owners in Weston have been reminded that summer restrictions have come into force, which means that their four-legged friends won't be allowed on the main beach.
Speaking yesterday, a Visit Weston-super-Mare spokesperson said: "We want you and your dog to continue having a great time in Weston-super-Mare but please remember that from tomorrow, May 1, the summer dog walking restrictions come into play.
"No dogs are allowed on the main beach, from Royal Sands to the Grand Pier between 9am and 7pm from May 1 to September 30.
"You can walk dogs all year round on the beach from Royal Sands to Uphill and from The Grand Pier to Marine Lake (please also remember that no dogs are allowed at Marine Lake at any time of year).
"Sand Bay is also an all-year-round dog walking beach."
