THE mayor of Weston, Cllr Ciaran Cronnelly, has said that he has "loved every minute" during his term.
In less than a month, Cllr Cronnelly's term as mayor will come to an end.
To date, he has attended 250 engagements, each of which have "showcased the brilliance" of Weston.
After his term, the mayor will continue with his role as a councillor.
Cllr Cronnelly said: "Less than a month until my term as Mayor comes to an end.
"I've loved every minute of it and met many incredible individuals and organisations - thank you all.
"As I prepare to leave the role I hit a big milestone yesterday - I've now attended 250 engagements. Each engagement has been special and has showcased the brilliance of Weston-super-Mare.
"After my term as Mayor I'll still continue as a councillor."
