Tom Farrand, co-leading partner for the Donate For Defib Project, ran the Weston Half Marathon on March 24.
Despite chilly, windy conditions, he achieved a personal best of one hour, 53 minutes and 18 seconds.
The project's team, including mascot Maya, fellow co-leader Josh Bell, and project secretary Christina Chell, were present to cheer him on.
Mr Farrand's next fundraising venture is the TCS London Marathon, which takes place in April.
