THE motorcyclist who tragically died after colliding with a wall in Weston has been named as 26-year-old Ryan Joshua Buttigieg.
Police officers were called to Royal Sands at around 4.30am on March 1 after receiving a report of a single-vehicle collision.
Emergency services and members of the public rushed to his aid, but Ryan sadly died at the scene.
A police spokesperson said: “The motorcyclist - who tragically died in a collision on Royal Sands, in Weston-super-Mare, on Friday, March 1 - has been named as 26-year-old Ryan Joshua Buttigieg.
“We would like to express our heartfelt condolences to Ryan’s family and we continue to provide them with support from our one of our specially-trained family liaison officers.
“We continue to appeal for witnesses who may have been in the area between 4.15-4.30am. If you saw anything, or have any relevant footage and have yet to speak to us, please call 101 and quote reference 5224053797.”
