An annual tribute show is coming to Weston-Super-Mare to raise money for a local hospice.
The All 60s/70s Night is set to take place on May 10 at 7.30pm in the Weston Super Mare Football Club.
It will be headlined by top tribute band Locarno Beat, with all profits going to Weston Hospicecare.
The organizer, David Kingsbury, said: "I hope to raise even more money as it costs over £5 million to run the hospice but only 20% of the funding for the charity comes from the NHS and the hospice provides free care to patients and their families.
"To date I have raised over £15750 for the charity."
The show, in its eighth year of running, raised £2875 last year.
Tickets are priced at £12.50 and are available for purchase by phone on 07849666537 or 01934 522511.
The event, from 7.30pm till 11pm, includes a grand raffle with substantial prizes.
Popular for its renditions of hits from the golden era, Locarno Beat, who headlined for the first time in 2023, will be returning to entertain attendees.
The tribute band's performance last year was received enthusiastically by the audience, leading to their call back for this year's edition.
In addition to Locarno Beat, classically-trained singer Chrystal Bliss, who is based in Worle and works as a lecturer at The University College Weston, will perform..
Having performed at the last five fundraising events, the organisers acknowledged her continued support as they welcome her back again.
In the spirit of the theme, attendees are encouraged to dig out their flares and mini skirts.
Moreover, there will be prizes for the best dressed in 60s/70s gear, donated by Mug Express.
The All 60s/70s Night is sponsored by six local businesses including Travelbility, Mendip Conservatories, Groves Family Funeral Directors, Brooking Ruse Accountants, Davan Caravans and Motorhomes, and Rachel J Homes Estate Agents.
