THOSE wanting to make a "positive difference" to their local community are invited to take part in Weston's New Year's Day Beach Clean.
Sophie's Super Litter Picking group will be meeting at the temporary RNLI Lifeboat station at Marine Lake on January 1, 2pm.
The voluntary group carries out monthly beach clean-up events in order to protect our environment and maintain our natural spaces.
A Visit Weston-super-Mare spokesperson said: "Are you looking for a New Year's resolution to make - and one that will make a positive difference to the community?
"Then how about kicking the New Year off with those wonderful people at @sophiessuperlitterpicking for their New Year's Day Beach Clean?
"They will be meeting at Marine Lake, by the temporary RNLI lifeboat station at 2pm on New Year's Day."
