A fundraiser for the Donate For Defib scheme at Weston's 49 Social Club has raised £1,259.
On December 2, the Donate For Defib Weston-Super-Mare Project Team joined forces with the Social Club for a bingo and raffle night.
The event on its own raised £910, increasing total funds to £1,259.
The additional funds included earnings from previous club activities such as pickled onion sales, Guess The Name contests and a balancing a coin on a lemon competition.
The Donate For Defib team expressed sincere gratitude to Shirley, Bob, and the team at the 49 Social Club.
Thanks were also extended to supporters, sponsors, and the generosity of attendees who donated at the event and donated raffle prizes.
The aim of Donate For Defib is to raise money to increase the number of defibrillators in the local community.
