AVON and Somerset Police have arrested 61 people in the first week of their winter drink/drug drive enforcement campaign.
A spokesman said: "We need your help to take dangerous drivers off the road before they can cause harm. If you suspect someone is driving under the influence of drink or drugs, report it.
"Each of these individuals made the choice to put lives at risk by getting behind the wheel while intoxicated - and will now face serious consequences. If you know someone that habitually drinks or drug drives, call 101 or report it online. You can also report anonymously to CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111. If it's happening now, always call 999."
On December 7, the police launched their annual winter drink/drug drive enforcement campaign to catch out anyone drinking during the festive season and then driving home over the influence.
Officers will be carrying out roadside stop checks across the force area throughout Christmas and New Year.
