A PROFESSIONAL wrestling event is due to take place in Weston next month.

Scotty 2 Hotty, a former WWE World Tag Team and Light Heavyweight Champion and Simon Miller, the host of WhatCulture, are just two of the fighters that will be in action at the CSF Professional Wrestling event at the Winter Gardens Pavilion on Saturday, November 11.

The organisation is celebrating 25 years of live events, 17 of which have been regularly held in the coastal town.

12 wrestlers will do battle in the ballroom, as five Pro Bouts will take place as part of this special event.

Scotty 2 Hotty will square off against UK Heavyweight Lance Cole. Meanwhile, Simon Miller will team up with Axel Carter to wrestle Gilligan Gordon and Nathan Bane. Eddie Ryan will battle Joshua James.

WWE NXT Tag Champ Joel Redman will face off against Māori Warrior: NIWA.

The main event of the night will be All Nations Champion, Jacke McCluskey, face off against Bullit.

McCluskey has defeated every single challenger to his title and has now held the prestigious belt for nearly two years.

Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the company said: "Bullit now moves on to challenge for the CSF All Nations Championship in Weston-super-Mare on Saturday, November 11!!

"Reigning Champion: Jake McCluskey has been sidelined since September 24 with injury, suffered from an attack by NIWA, following a successful title defence over Joel Redman.

"Jake will be clear to compete by this date and will now return to face the challenge from Bullit.

"Can Jake score yet another victory and close another year as CSF Champion, or will Bullit be the man to finally topple ‘The Unique One’ and open 2024, our 26th year, as the All Nations Champion?"

After the event, the wrestlers will be on hand to sign autographs and meet their fans.

Doors will open at 6pm, with first bell at 6.30pm. The evening will finish at 9pm.

Tickets cost £12.50 each and can be purchased via the CSF Professional Wrestling website or on EventBrite and TicketSource.

Those interested are urged to purchase tickets as soon as possible, as there are only 100 left.
