PILOTS have battled against strong winds to perform a sideways landing at Bristol Airport.
A video shared by Newsflare yesterday (Wednesday, September 20) shows the easyJet plane approaching the tarmac.
The strong winds, caused by the remnants of Hurricane Lee, caused the aircraft to rock and tilt as it got closer to the ground.
Luckily, the pilots managed to land the plane successfully.
The hurricane began in northeast USA and east Canada before transitioning into the Atlantic and towards Britain.

According to the Met Office, the remnants of the hurricane would bring a spell of "typically Autumnal wet and windy weather to the UK."
In a Met Office article written on September 15, deputy chief meteorologist, Rebekah Sherwin, said: “These heavy showers and thunderstorms will spread across much of the UK through the day on Sunday with nowhere immune from the chance of seeing them."
